Shirazi salad

This Shirazi salad has been one of my favorite types of salads this summer. It’s super easy to prepare and absolutely delicious.

You will need:

• 1/3 red onion

• 2 plum tomatoes

• 2 persian cucumbers

• Cilantro

• Olive oil, lime juice, salt, pepper and any other spices you like for taste !

For this recipe, start off by washing your vegetables. Then, dice your red onions. Add to a bowl.

Dice your tomatoes as well and spill over the bowl.

Dice your Persian cucumbers and cut your cilantro leaves into very small pieces. Add all to the bowl.

Mix the vegetables together. Add olive oil and lime juice to taste. Generally, I use 1/5 cup of olive oil and 1/4 cup lime juice. Lastly, add salt, pepper and spices (I use Italian Seasoning or sage!) to taste.
